We just moved into a new home a few months ago after living in the city for over 10 years. My old home had Samsung appliances throughout the kitchen and I was so excited to get the Samsung Flex-Duo range. It has few options that my old one didn't have that I love. First and foremost, I love the convenience the Flex- Duo offers, we have a lot of pizza nights when all the kids are over and it's nice to be able to cook one pizza at 400° and another one at 425°. I can have it done in 20 minutes and go on with my day. I wasn't sure how often I would use the griddle, but surprisingly I have used it a lot, mostly on pancakes and breakfast foods. It works great, doesn't take long to heat and is non-stick so it's very easy to clean. Another feature I love is the air fryer feature. Our old oven had this and I knew it was a feature I wanted in my new oven. It's much easier to cook for a family of 5 in the oven air fryer, than in the tiny counter top one we have. It's easy to clean, I love the layout of the controls, I was able to easily figure out our to control the heat on the double oven feature. The steam clean feature is great when you have company coming and you don't want your house to get smokey. It cleans fast with a bad smell. I missed my range when we moved, but I love the Flex-Duo model even better than my last one.

I got the Samsung Smart Freestanding Electric Range with Flex Duo™, No Preheat Air Fry & Griddle 6.3 cu. ft. Capacity in Stainless Steel. It looks so great! I love the squared look on the glass. It is sleek and clean. I love all the features on the stove top, including the warming zone and the larger area for a griddle. I took off one star, because the preheat sound is very loud and long and same with the timer. The top oven seems to burn everything, while the bottom cooks it perfectly in the same amount of time. I wish the pamphlet included how to use the air fryer and included recipes. I have yet to try that feature, but I'm excited to! I would recommend this oven. I have used Samsung appliances for years and always loved the quality.

The Flex Duo is the star

Had the opportunity to purchase the Samsung 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Freestanding Electric Range with Flex Duo™, No Preheat Air Fry & Griddle. Did I need one? No, not really. The other was just fine. But I'm glad I made the move. The Duo is the best part. Need to cook pizza for the kids but your own food at the same time? No problem. Slide in the partition and you get 2 ovens with independent temperature control and everyone can have food at the same time. The other features are great as well. I used the griddle to make burgers and they turned out great, just as good as when I make them in cast iron pan. Want to air fry? You can do that to, doesn't even need to preheat and the basket is included. Works great on frozen fries. I have a few other SmartThings items so the app nearly instantly detected the range and added it. While at home you can pretty much control the entire range, get alerts when preheat is done, range is turned off, etc. For what I assume is safety reasons you can't control the range away from home. No big deal. The installer should tell you but in case you install yourself, be sure you burn off the coating in the oven. Mine took nearly an hour at 350 degrees. Just turn your vent fan on and open a window is what the installer told me. I did both but also turned on an air purifier to further help control the smell. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommended!
