Timer doesn't work

we had an mc17j8000 microwave in one home and wanted to replace an older microwave in a second home, so ordered the same one as it worked very well. apparently we were in the model changeover period and were unable to get the same model so we got the newer mc17t8000. we found that we couldn't use the timer withe the microwave in operation. had a service call, only to find out that combination was not available with the t8000 as it was in the j8000. we then found that the timer, when set to more than 35 minutes, would not complete the cycle, but rather return to the clock time. another service call replaced the circuit board, but it did not fix the problem. so we have a microwave that is not fully functional.

i am doing more with this microwave than i thought i would. it works great and it looks outstanding in the kitchen. i like the different functions but i am still learning. made great tasting food so far. hood and lights even work with the smart things app as well as the clock sync. don't know why there are so many bad reviews. glad i bought this.

worked, then microwave failed after only 4 weeks. called for warranty. repair appt was a no show or contact. now i am stuck in quarantine with no microwave for another 8-9 days. only worked for 4 weeks? maybe i just got unlucky but so far i am not thrilled with reliability and warranty service.
