i love that my microwave is connected to the smart things app. there are so many neat settings to use as compared to your standard. i wish it came with a flashing piece to cover the microwave and cabinet. if you are cooking something a long time the steam does get on your cabinets so you will have to make sure your paying attention to condensation. i love the sleek modern design but it is not fingerprint resistant. we love the bright white light we use as a night light. we have been able to slim fry some fries without oil and it has been great. the convection cook has helped our food to be warmed up evenly. being able to quickly and evenly thaw better when baking has also been helpful.

This is a beautiful and elegant microwave. We had previously a 2.1 cu ft. and we replaced by the Samsung 1.7 cu ft. stainless steel. I really don't see much a difference between the 2.1 to the 1.7 as I consider this Samsung pretty spacious inside. The microwave is stainless steel and fingerprint resistant, which makes cleaning way easier. Also, it complements really nice our kitchen and pairs with our Samsung smart range. Setting it up was fast: you just go to the Samsung Smart App and it took a few minutes to set up everything; the app found the microwave and synchronized with my Samsung smart range. Then the most amazing feature ever: the fan turn on automatically every time that you turn on the stove top. Not to mention that the fan is really quiet and powerful to remove all the steam and odors. Another great feature is the child lock, which is also very handy when cleaning the front of the microwave. This microwave have so many features, some are the usual microwave feature such as auto defrost, reheat, popcorn, etc. But there are other new features such as melting butter, which makes melting butter cleaner and not as splashy; slim fry, which grill chicken tenderloins perfectly (as long as you use the special tray provided for the slim fry). Altogether, this is an amazing product and big update to our kitchen.

This is the last of my major kitchen appliances, I have converted all of them now to Samsung! I will say I have not been disappointed and this microwave is not any different. It far exceeds my expectations. You can tell the design team put some hours into thinking what would the user want. Starting off it looks sleek and goes with the kitchen. The large back glass to the lighted buttons on the side. I like that I don't have to pull a handle, it's on the side where you can see it. It has the ability to pair with the app which was very easy and pretty cool. It has bright white LED lights that shine down below. The fans are strong but quieter than my old one. Even when the microwave is in use it is not as loud. There are a lot of preset functions to it. Like melting butter, steaming, defrosting, and even reheating food. This microwave has plenty of power, rated at 1000 watts. You have the ability to reduce the power if wanted. Overall, this is much better than my old microwave and it complements my kitchen and cooking a lot!

This microwave looks and feels like a premium product. Just opening and closing the door feels satisfying. Exterior of the microwave looks sleek. No handle design makes the microwave look modern. Stainless steel finish looks great. Inside the microwave has plenty of space for anything you would need to microwave. It has a blue ceramic finish inside. I prefer this finish over the basic white finish inside most standard microwaves. Only complaint is that it’s a bit difficult to see inside while the microwave is operating, which is not really a big deal to me. The light underneath is a bright LED light that does its job. The duel vent fan system also does its job well when cooking on your stove top. There’s more to this microwave than being a good looking appliance in your kitchen. Convection oven capabilities is a game changer! We get pretty hot summers where I live. It’s great to be able to cook something in the microwave without heating the house up using the oven. I baked a small cake in the microwave the other day! Never thought a convection oven in the microwave was necessary until I owned it. Now I will never go without. This smart microwave will link to your smart oven as well. It’s pretty neat. Does cool things like automatically turn on your vent when you’re cooking on your stove top. A+ design and A++ functionality. If you’re looking to replace your old microwave look no further. This microwave will not disappoint!

i own two homes and have one of these in each. both of them are useless. the first died randomly after two months then again a few months later. the second one stopped microwaving after a couple uses. i had two service tickets for these two microwaves at the same time, 1200 miles between the two. it's junk. and like the other review, service people won't take it down. so i have to do that. samsung should be ashamed to continue to sell this microwave. also, if you dent the door taking it down so they can fix it, your manufacturer's warranty is void. don't believe me? ask them. don't be fooled by the cool features and pretty looks of samsung appliances. don't do it.
