I have this refrigerator almost a year and have repairmen 3 times already. I had to invest now in a service contract, bec. it is still not running properly. The fridge is roomy, but unless I keep it at the highest setting the milk spoils. Stay far away from this model. It has sensors in the freezer that need 'breathing' space, so you can't fill the freezer up!!!

We acquired this fridge for the break room at our company. As far as getting the job done at its most basic straightforward level, things look promising.This is as basic as you can get with a freezer-top fridge. What I can say that stands out from the rest of its ho-hum disposition is the storage volume relative to the size. It is QUITE spacious inside, more than you might expect. That was like, literally the only thing that got my attention. Outside of ALL the quintessence of fridge-ness, it was when I opened the door, looked inside, and saw all the SPACE, THAT is what made me go "... huh!" and bumped its score up from 3 to 3.5 stars. I mean what else am I gonna ask for? If we wanted more we would've paid more, right? I'll also give you this: Its design principles are VERY refined. This understated presence in your kitchen strives to be as unobtrusive as possible. It IS big, but doesn't *seem* like it until you open it, and I mean that in a good way. Build quality seems solid. Clean lines, gives you exactly what you expect to see, no surprises; it's almost comforting. This is what comes to mind when somebody hears the word "Fridge."

We needed a new fridge and we found this one. Went looking at others and came back to buy this one. It has everything we wanted. The best features to me are the light in the freezer, the sliding meat compartment and large door holders for big items like milk.

I rated three stars only because the design of the inside freezer door is a waste you can't place most items on the door due to the space between the rails and the shelf. Everything falls through the space when you open the door. I also sent a email through Whirlpool's website to see if maybe I was missing something that would stop items from falling through and have not heard from them yet been about 5 day's now as of 1/23/2018.

This product is great and I'm glad that I replace it with the old one. But the door is hard to open which is horrible. Sometimes I pull the refrigerator off the place where it is standing and still the door did not open! Other then that I want a water filter in it too. That way this can be a good refrigerator.
