Purchased new $3,500 ge profile refrigerator and 18 months in it stops cooling as well as stopped freezing. The meat from the deer my 12 year old son shot is ruined. Shaking my head.

It was hard to find a refrigerator due to supply chain issues. There was one left at a local Lowe’s store. My mom had GE refrigerators in the past and always thought highly of them and the company. So far, so good with this one. The people at Lowe’s said GE had a really good reputation and didn’t typically have service issues.

Refrigerator doors too deep, shelves too shallow

This is the 2nd counter depth refrigerator of this style (french door, bottom freezer) that I have had. I am very disappointed in how shallow the shelves are, you cannot even fit a 12 pack of soda back to front in. The shelves are so shallow because they made the door bins extremely deep. This causes 2 other problems, 1) unless you have the door bins totally full, items in the bins tip over when the door in opened and closed and 2) the doors are extremely heavy and need a strong push to get them to totally close.

Amazing fridge with plenty of space and shelving. Auto-sensing water dispenser is a great touch and there is plenty of room in the freezer.
