This fridge has many features that any person would love (wife loves everything). It a has a Beverage center that has a separate door from the main 2 doors, so you aren't opening it and losing air and energy. The beverage center has an auto fill water pitcher, which the wife uses to infuse the water with fruit. Also, the bottom left door is a freezer with 2 different types of ice maker (nuggets and cube). Wife loves that we have nuggets for things that need to cool fast, or for small mouth water bottles). The only downside is that it is a little low and that you have to pull out the drawer to get ice. However, not too bad an inconvenience since you get 2 different types of ice. The bottom right door is a flex fridge, which we utilize as extra freezer space. Since the beverage center only takes up a portion of the door, and that the ice makers is in the freezer, the top Fridge portion has a lot more space than other Counter Depth Fridges. The most unique and interesting feature is the Smart Hub. Even though there aren't any physical buttons on the fridge for changing options, it makes the fridge look very clean, as all the options of the fridge are built in to the smart hub. The "view inside" camera feature is great way to save energy and not have to open the door. Plus it can inventory items for you and make order suggestions. The Smart Hub has many apps and features, that I don't have enough space in this review to list. Who would have though that Samsung could create a fridge that the whole family likes and enjoys, but they have knocked it out of the ballpark.

I am really happy to have the opportunity to get try out the Samsung Smart Counter Depth 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with Family Hub & Beverage Center Black Stainless Steel for a discounted price in exchange for my honest review. The style and look of the refrigerator have a very modern look. It has a triple and metal control cooling system. Top of the refrigerator is regulated at whatever temp you want. In the bottom two sections, one side is a freezer that can go below 0 degrees while the other side has a multifunction temperature control where you can set the temperature to freezing, beverage storage or fruits and vegetables. I love the ice cube dispenser and the two sizes is dispenses. There’s a beverage area located on the inside which gives it a nice modern look. In the beverage area, the water pitcher can be auto filled as well as an infused water pitcher. It also has a water dispenser for cup or bottle use. It has great lighting inside of the refrigerator. The inside has a nice amount of space for groceries. The fridge has an alarm feature letting you know the doors are open which is great. The family hub is an amazing feature added. I love the camera feature inside of the refrigerator area. I can see what’s inside without having to open the doors. Its like having a tablet on the fridge and works like one as well. The apps include fridge management, music apps, and even pops up recipe suggestions for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can create your own shopping list and have the fridge to recognize the food that’s inside and you can modify it. The hub also connects to my Samsung phone for notifications and alerts. So far I am a happy customer

The New Samsung 4 Door Flex Refrigerator is back, and it is much better than before. It now has a sleeker design with a bunch of new added features and it just looks absolutely beautiful. We had owned the original Samsung 4 door Flex refrigerator and some of the features are the same on the this model such as the Family hub, which is essentially a giant tablet in your kitchen, along with a soundbar, to listen to your favorite tunes, along with Samsung Smartings and Smart Switch my two favorite applications. So, the new Samsung 4 Door Flex now features a beverage center instead of your traditional water and ice dispense and the best part is that is now comes with an auto filling water infusion pitcher. The beverage center is located before a panel door with a separate latch to open the panel to access your beverage center. The beverage center has space to place the pitcher and also has a water dispenser and also has quick access shelves for your beverages or other items. Instead of a traditional Ice dispenser, which used to take up a quite of bit of space in your refrigerator, Samsung went the old school style but with a a twist. The Ice maker has been moved into your freezer area with 2 different types of ice cubes. You have your regular ice cubes and now you have smaller bite size ice cubes and each in their own separate trays and there is plenty of it, so no more running out of ice. By moving the ice maker into the freezer compartment, it opened up a lot more space in the top fridge portion. The other cool feature of the new Samsung Flex is the UV deodorizing filter in the refrigerator compartment to get rid of any funky smells that may linger in your fridge from some foods. So, going back to the Samsung Smart things and Smart Switch applications on the family hub and I had mentioned that they were my favorite application and the reason for that that is because my other appliances are Samsung and are also smart. The Smartthings app allows me to bring all my appliances together into one place and I able to control everything from that family hub. I am able to load my laundry and start it and keep an eye on it from the app. I am also able to start and stop my robot vacuum cleaner from the app as well and I can do that will all my Samsung appliances. I have my front doorbell connected to the application as well, so if I am in the kitchen and someone rings my doorbell I can see who it is and talk to them right from there before going to the door. Look: This refrigerator looks very modern and elegant. Being the counter depth model, it seamlessly merges with cabinets. It looks very much like the pricier custom panel refrigerators. We were skeptical about lack of water dispenser at front initially. But we have come to love the new sleek finish. Features: The most used feature of this fridge is placed right on the front - it's the family hub. My kids are the biggest fans. The large screen provides ample space for them to express their artistic sides. The speech queries works. Want a to see a recipe - just ask the fridge. Want to listen to music while cooking - just ask the fridge. Want to check today's calendar - just ask the fridge. Want to control smart devices in the home - just tell the fridge. The refrigerator also has smarts to identify the contents inside the fridge and show how long it has been sitting inside the fridge. That is so useful. The refrigerator also suggests recipes based on contents of the fridge. You can also see inside the fridge - remotely - using SmartThings app. The object recogninition engine needs some more work. For exmaple the fridge correctly identified items like cheese box, avacados and grapes, it doesn't seem to read out the labels on the items, leading to incorrectly labelling yogurt container as alfredo sauce, cream cheese as olive, and box of tomatoes as canned fruits. But I firmly believe the ML powering this object recogninition will get better over time. The Family hub also makes meal planning and recipes a breeze. That simplfies the shopping lists by a magnitude and definitely saved us time and money by reducing amount of trips and extra buys. The other feature I like is the auto filling water dispenser. This summer it provided us with self replenishing source of cool and refreshing water. The ice dispensers are also nifty. The fridge came with a ice scoop - it was ready for bar duties! Thing that we haven't used heavily - FlexZone. And that's just because we have another fridge in the garage that we haven't run out of space yet. I am sure we will need it at some point of time. Regular usage: Ours is a vegetarian family - meaning lots and lots of greens and fruits. And so far everything we have thrown in the fridge - it is preserving them nicely. We cook a lot of ethic food (Indian). And the fridge has done a fanstastic job to not make milk smell like Tikka Masala. The fridge excels at keeping nice uniform temperature. Overall, Samsung delivered a Winner.

fully under warranty but out 1000.00 in food or a fourth of the cost of the fridge. technician came and literally said i dont know whats wrong and not sure when they are gonna be able to fix it. seriously i have a five year extended warranty but comeon this fridge died in 11 months. super upset
