Replace 5 year old LG that was not repairable. New Maytag offer the perfect size for counters and availabile space. Wanted to do away with water and ice on outside to have less mess and a cleaner look. So having the ice maker where it belongs ( in freezer) and cold water just inside the door was what we wanted. Even though the Maytag is smaller in size, we feel with out the ice maker in the door and design of shelves, we really have not lost space. Wish the freezer did not have wire baskets. Crisper drawers could be improved. Overall super happy with our purchase!
