I have had this fridge for 2 weeks the door will not close when you push it shut. Unless I physically close it all the way it remains open. Not used to this. No other fridge I have ever had has done this. It has always been quite the opposite.

Our 10 year old Maytag died and we had to replace it...we had a very tight space with limited options so we bought the newest version of the fridge we had. It's ok. The features of the older fridge were better. Shelf quality was better. The old shelves didn't fit in the fridge so we're stuck with the current offering. Doesn't seem to be shelf accessories available to "upgrade" either.

We did a lot of searching for the right refrigerator for our home and this was it. We searched for almost 2 months, weighing all the options and not so good ones. This fridge is quiet, a great freezer with pull out drawers, instead of opening to the side. The ice maker works perfectly producing small ice cubes instead of the huge ones, which is perfect for a ice cold glass of water or whatever. The fridge itself is well lighted, lots of shelf storage in the door and main shelves. The deli drawer is a super idea someone come up with, and the outside of the fridge is a fingerprint less finish, that really is just that. All around, so far so good and hope it lasts as long as our Maytag washer and dryer.
