I love the refrigerator and the features of the 3 ICE options. the water dispenser it on front of the ice dispenser making it easy to miss it while refilling the glasses causing some water spills. We are used to it but when we forget there is a small water accident on the floor. We do love the new refrigerator at home and happy to have select this one

Weve had the fridge for two weeks now. Good thing we kept our old fridge as this one is not making ice as quickly as we thought it would. We have the fridge set for 33 degrees but its only 44 degrees. The freezer is set for -7 but it is currently only +8.7. If it doesnt start cooling like it should it goes back at the end of the week.

The fridge is a great one for the house. Its bigger so remember that when you are thinking of placement. Shortfall: ice cant stay up with the summer heat particularly when you have multiple individuals in the home. Customer service can be painful. Its a call center most likely in the Philippines like all the other companies these days.

My first complaint is the craft ice maker. It worded for a few months but then stopped. It was still under warranty so LG sent us a replacement but I had to pay for the repair man myself. That new ice maker lasted only a couple of months and then died too. I got no satisfaction from LG for this second craft ice maker. Loved the craft ice but it needs some better engineering. The second problem that we had was that the refrigerator started to constantly beep as if the doors were open. I contacted LG and did everything the technician told me to do but nothing stopped it from beeping. Three beeps every 30 seconds can drive a person insane after a few days We finally watched a Y tube video to disconnect the beep but then the ice/water in the door did not work. Finally my son did his own diagnostic and discovered a connection that was not working. We ordered the parted from Amazon and now we are waiting for the next thing to go wrong with this refrigerator.

Prior to shopping for this new fridge I had not seen a refrigerator with the fridge/freezer middle drawer. Were a multi-generational household the middle drawer works out great for my 47 mom. Shes always been challenged by the height of refrigerators so shes very happy to have the drawer and large bottom shelf. In checking out brands with the middle drawers it quickly became obvious that fit finish of the LG was a step above. Everything that is supposed to open roll slide or close does so solidly yet easily. There is none of the wiggle in the drawers doors that we found in other brands which made fairly expensive fridges feel cheap. Weve been very pleased with this purchase.
