I bought this refrigerator a few months ago and have been very happy with the design and how evenly it cools in both the refrigerator and the freezer. The doors function well, but I sometime wonder if they are fully closed. The one thing that needs to be re-engineered is the compartments inside each French door that have a bottom-opening "sub-door" on the compartment. The gaskets are constantly falling off and there is no positive locking/closing mechanism (say a magnet) that keeps the "sub-door" from opening and the contents falling into the refrigerator.

I have had this for about 3 weeks. I can hardly believe how spacious it is. It replaced a KitchenAid side by side and the difference is amazing. Food preserving features really work. Yes, I would buy it again.

Bought this fridge in Oct 2017 and had it installed in Jan 2018. Our doors exhibited a popping noise for a few months then the lights stopped turning on when the door opened. The right door also wouldn’t close completely on its own most of the time. I took the top cover off which revealed that the hinges were coming off and the arms that control the door light switches were torqued and not able to function. We had a repairman come out to check it out under warranty. He simply screwed the hinges back down and readjusted the arms. Now the right door won’t close on its own most of the time, but the lights work again at least. If it stays like it is, we can live with it, but with it being less than 18 months old, I’d expect better for $8500. Based on the responses here, it seems to me that the company should be granting extended warranties to people for no charge.

We had a broken latch at installation and ice maker broke after 2 months. The refrigerator looks good but am hoping nothing else goes wrong. Would not buy again.

I have had the refrigerator for less than a year, and repairman have been to my house 3-4 times already and my doors still do not close properly. Although, they changed a part, then shimmed something and said this is how the doors work. They closed when first installed, so not really buying that line.
