I bought this fridge to replace a slightly narrower GE Profile of a the same style that had conked out. We like the lighting, roominess, and clean, simple look of the Whirlpool fridge. Not crazy about: the sound (wish it was quieter), the door is quite heavy with all the bottles and jars requiring a firm push to close it - otherwise it swings open. The first Whirlpool we had delivered had a broken water tube on the back of the fridge - our delivery guy noticed and pointed this out. It seems that where the tube enters the back of the fridge is a poor design and very vulnerable to breaking. Lowes delivery guys were great, and arranged for me to get another fridge delivered within the week. This one seems to be fine.
