This washer is wonderful. It seems to balance itself before each wash, which helps to avoid a lopsided load of laundry shaking the whole room when it hits the spin cycle. Something I've noticed is that the unit is pretty tall; shorter people will have a hard time reaching all the way to the bottom of the washer for those last few garments. The transparent slow-close lid is a nice addition, but the angled top makes it sort of awkward to place anything on top of the unit. I like the app connectivity and the customization of the wash programs, and the notifications to my phone when it's time to switch a load. The detergent dispenser is also a cool addition and takes the measure work out of the process. Overall a great washer!

We upgraded from a 10 year old washer because we were tired of the wear is was putting on our clothes. Sure, it got them clean, but after a few washes, colors seemed to fade, bedspreads seemed to pill, and everything took on a more worn appearance. This new Samsung has done a fantastic job of getting everything clean without being as rough on the clothes. My wife was a little nervous to make the switch as it has a lot of features, but she didn't want something that would be difficult to use. When we loaded it for the first time, we kind of looked at each other like, "wait, that's it?". It really is easy to use because it does a lot of the work for you. With all of the extra loads we are doing these days as the kids go back to school with facemasks, it has been amazing to just throw them in and take them out less than 30 min later. Not having to measure out detergent makes it so quick. That speed has been a godsend as life has ramped back up to full speed.

Two weeks ago, I upgraded from my decades-old Whirlpool washer and dryer to this 7700 Series 5.5 cu. ft. extra-large capacity smart top load washer with auto dispense system and 7.4 cu. ft. smart electric dryer with steam sanitize. I'm really excited as I navigate my learning curve with this new laundry experience. I love this extra-large tub - it is huge! A load of my king sheet set with extra pillowcases would fill my previous washer - this one has plenty of room to spare. The combination of washing options allows me to really customize loads. I initially had some misgivings about the lack of an agitator, but I'm leaning into this new design and don't currently consider it an issue. My laundry in getting cleaned well and the cycles are so much quieter than my previous machine. Full disclosure: I purchased some silicone agitators and use them with every load. Overall, I am very pleased.

im only writing this to warn others. i experienced two different issues. the first one was the military pricing not being added. i even chatted with customer service prior to placing my order about this issue. the second, is the water does not fill up enough to cover the clothes/bedding. even on a very small load. to top it off, the way it moves so slow, the top of clothes never get submerged in water like they usually do when washers move faster. there isn’t even an option to add more water. you are stuck with what the settings give you.
