We bought this bc Wirecutter recommended the more premium version and we didnt need as many bells and whistles. Works well so far and is pretty quiet Especially compared to our old washer with broken spider The only annoying thing is I havent figured out a way to default to a specific custom setting and you cant tell how long it will take for the cycle until youve actually started the cycle.

My purchase was replacing the existing LG washer. Often many models needs to replace both washer and dryer but the existing dryer was still compatible with existing bracket to reuse. I only had to replace washer. Its LG washer. I think it is best class on the level.

Had this washer for one year plus one month then the electronics died/seized up which prevented further use. Given the price of a new circuit board I chose to dump this washer and buy a new one different brand. Hugely disappointing to say the least since my previous 10-year old LG front-load washer was still going strong with absolutely no problems I left it in the house I sold last year and thought a new LG washer would be grand...BIG mistake
