Love the fifth burner

This item includes a five burner range. The fifth burner is a long, oval one with a flat grill on top (included). This is great for grilling anything. I love the convection functionality. Things cook so much faster and the oven converts regular baking to convection, so it's easy to use.

We bought this stove on the strength of Whirlpool's reputation to replace our ten year old Kenmore piece of junk. First time we attempted to use the convection oven the fan began making noise and blew the breaker. Repairman arrived two days later to diagnose the problem and ordered the part. He replaces the fan assembly a week later and it now works silently. It really is a very good unit otherwise - burner top is very powerful. Boils water for pasta very quickly and the wok burner is terrific. The center grill is also great - just be prepared to clean up under the grates afterward (the hinged grates make this easier but will not open all the way if you have a microwave above it). The racks in the oven are exceptionally strong and easy to adjust. Remember to lower the temperature by 25 degrees F when using the convection feature. Were it not for the fan SNAFU I would have given this unit 5 stars but that should have been caught in Quality Control. The stove was also easy to install once I got the right kit from Lowes.
