I've been cooking with an electric stove for years, but decided to go back to gas recently. I searched tons of reviews on quite a few different models and finally decided on Kitchen Aid. I think it's wonderful, and believe that I made the right choice. I'm very happy with it!
So disappointed

I was so in love with this stove, I saved for months and worked overtime. Within two weeks, my knobs warped, apparently from heat.
Look nice

They delivered my range on November. The first time we used the oven we noticed that streak of water between the glasses . So when we went back and buy a kitchen Aid dishwasher ,our sale person told us to call that is not normal. So a technician came in and called kitchen aid and they said that was not on warranty that it was a cosmetic problem. I wish I could returned the dishwasher but it was too late. Believe me I will never buy kitchen Aid any longer.

The oven is great. Haven't tried to clean it yet as that is a more involved process then the traditional cleaning options. The White version of this oven is very hard to get. I ordered it on Presidents day and it didn't arrive till mid April; a 3 month wait.....

Purchased the range in January 2019, and immediately noticed that the left front burner did not light like the others. If it did light it took several attempts, but more times than not it wouldn't light at all. I called KitchenAid Customer Service, and I will say the person I spoke with was very helpful, they scheduled a service call with a local repair company. Unfortunately, much like the cable company the best they can do is confirm the date, the local company then calls to confirm the appointment time. That turns into a 4-5 window, in the middle of the day which is not the most convenient for someone who works and hour from home. The process worked as promised, the repairman came out and couldn't have been nicer, although he did leave my house smelling like gas after all of the attempts to light/fix the burner. He told me a new burner assembly was needed and he would have to order and come back. I received a call about a week later, again confirming the date of the return visit, with another 4 hour window. The same repairman returned installed the new burner, and based on the amount of times he tried to light the burner it became evident that it did not fix the issue. He continued working, again the house smelled like gas but by the end of his visit he assured me the unit was fixed. I immediately tried to light the burner and sure enough it wouldn't light. I called Customer Service once again, and I asked at what point does the issue get resolved? How many times do they attempt to fix before I get a new range?? She explained the warranty, that the unit would need to be deemed unrepairable, but she could not tell me how many trips that takes. She did offer to schedule another visit... At this point I have missed 2 days of work, the burner still doesn't light as the others do, that is if you have the patience to wait for it to light. I removed a perfectly good gas range, all because my wife wanted everything to match the new dishwasher that was needed. Oh, and we purchased a refrigerator that I placed a service call on as well, but the technician told me he could not duplicate the loud buzzing sound that can be heard upstairs in a 2 story house when the ice maker fills. The whole experience has been disappointing and frustrating.
