A slide in typically has a lip that extends from the sides and back of the cooktop surface and sits atop the surrounding counter top. This does not. So unless your opening is cut exactly to the size of this range, you’ll have a gap.

had range for a month. heavy cast iron grill, heavy stainless steel top, easy to clean. oven heats up quickly. we love being able to heat a smaller top oven. burners are very adjustable, cooking on a stove top with gas is so much more enjoyable and heat easy to control than with the electric model we had before. wonderful addition to the kitchen. would highly recommend. we did receive compensation if we wrote a review, (a free backsplash) but the review is mine

we've had this range for five months now, and are completely blown away with the performance. we searched for a range that had all the features we wanted, and this is it. the flex-duo oven configuration is the only dual oven we found that allows us to use a large single oven, as well as the dual oven function--it's ingenious! convection operations saves time and energy with no sacrifice of quality cooking, and the gas cooktop works flawlessly. we haven't even used all the features yet, but look forward to further enjoyment of this excellent product. i received compensation for this review , but the content is mine.

initial thoughts. we've only had this one day. cooking modes are very restricted when in twin configuration. #1 issue keep warm mode can not be used in dual oven mode and is fixed at 175. (should go to 145). temp probe can't be used in keep warm mode air fry can only be done in single oven mode! temp probe can't be used in air fry mode the range was not listed on the anti-tip template, we had to make our own! user manual is full of errors (ex. many references to gas oven!) on such a high priced range, i was really disappointed to now have less oven capability than the less expensive one i replaced. these things are all software based things, which could easily be fixed in a sw update. but... the oven is beautiful! it fit perfectly and i love the look.
