we used to have a real small microwave and it would heat up our food evenly. we are consistently finding that milk and other food products take longer to heat up.

"communications error" between circuit boards. second time this has happened so i don't think that i should have to pay to get it repaired again. did it overheat? part de92-03729p. is there a recall?

we purchased this in the 2nd week of november 2018. in late march, i smelled something similar to an electrical burn and the screen flashed ca-2 error code. it was fixed. it failed again tonight.

Turntable Woes

I also am having trouble with the roller guide for the turntable in my microwave. It broke soon after installation. The response from Samsung was quick and they replaced it. It is now 10 months post installation and it has broken again. The Samsung Care Service Quick tech came out, took pictures, and phoned for permission to replace. This time, the tech said that Samsung called it “cosmetic” and would not replace the part. This was even though the turntable will not rotate, there is an obvious crack in the roller guide, there has been no misuse, and it is still under warranty. I asked how I could appeal this decision, and he told me to call the 1-800 number. I did that, and was told that the technician had said it was physical damage, they would not replace it, they did not have authority to reverse that decision AND they did not have the phone number of the Samsung tech division that did have that authority. I was on the phone for almost an hour with them. I also tried to call Samsung Care Service Quick directly and after holding for almost a half hour without getting through to anyone, I gave up. So be warned: not only does the roller guide break easily, but it’s apparent that Samsung does not stand behind their warranty. Other than this issue, I have enjoyed the oven/microwave.
