This is our first under counter microwave. Previous above counter models received plenty of light from the ceiling lights, but now that the microwave is under the counter, the ceiling lights don't light it. Only when we tried to use it for the first time did we realize that the only button that is back-lit is the timer. All others are simply written on to the front, but not backlit. We can't see any of them, and have to use a flashlight. I can't tell you how frustrating this is! We love everything else about it.

We bought this microwave and love the built in sleek design. I also like that you don’t have to bend over and pull out your food. The automatic drawer pulls out and allows you to access your things from the top.
