I had a Whirlpool 3 years ago, and this one is just as good as that one. I had an Amana in between and didn't like it as much. I like the size of this one since we only have one fridge. I like the see-through shelves and the adjustable shelves in the main compartment and the door.

I am glad to have found a fridge to fit in the space without having to remove cabinets. So far I am pleased with the purchase. The light in the freezer compartment is great.

I do not recommend this model for two reasons: 1. Poor temperature controls. Instead of separate temperature controls for the refrigerator and freezer sections, you get one "temperature balance" control - turn it one way or the other and more or less cooling is directed to each section. Very hard to get BOTH sections at optimal temperatures together. 2. Poor self design, especially on the freezer inside door. Shelves have huge gaps on the bottom. Any slender item placed in them (a package of frozen peas or corn, for example) slips right through and falls to the fall. Really stupid design.
