My mother bought this fridge in Nov 2018. First evening after delivery she had a puddle of water on top shelf. After visits from 8 different service tech's the last one said the vacuum tube was fixed. Now her freezer is -20 and fridge is 68. She has lost all food in the fridge and freezer. Called cust service they said project team will call within 72 hours. It's been over a week. She called back twas on hold 45 min then disconnected....so still no working fridge. We will call again but are close to calling atty general's office.

I bought this about a month ago because my refrigerator died. I couldn't find any refrigerator/top freezer in stock at Lowes, Home Depot, Brand Smart that could be delivered immediately. Finally found at Best Buy and that took six days to deliver. Apparently no one makes the size fridge that I had for more than 21 years, so had to scale down. Now it looks bad as the space is bigger than the fridge. It's much smaller, bang my head looking to take something off the top shelf. Only one half length shelf for milk in the door. Things fall out of the door shelves in freezer because they didn't close the shelves in. Guess that costs more money? I'm told that the appliances today will last 3-5 years or 6-8 years. Sorry there's no pride in construction anymore. They build to "not last" so they can make more money. It's not Whirlpool - it's all of the appliances manufacturers.
