Started to freeze the food in the food compartmen

I bought a refrigerator about a year and five months and recently it started to freeze our food and vegitables. We have had other refrigerators that have lasted 10+ Years. Yet this one conveniently a few months after the warranty ran out, it starts to act out. Been trying to contact maytag to see what they can do to help me fix their product. This is not acceptable to have a fridge start acting up, when it’s basically new. Maytag will probably want me to pay to fix their bad product...How is that fair. I did my research on fridges and this one seemed to be promising. I think that due to this experience I will probably not buy maytag anymore, unless the company steps up to fix this issue.

We’ve had the fridge for 18 months. Now it freezes everything in the lower fridge portion even after turning down the setting and ensuring the vents are clear. It’s basically unusable. Very disappointing.

Bought this a month ago freezer stays at 10-20 degrees with fan on at max all the time . If I put the refrig at highest setting it will go down sometimes but then the frig is too cold at 30 degrees . Motor then runs most of the time to keep temp . I have had two companies out no one can fix . As I say it’s been one month or longer and no help Wish I could just throw it away
