Our larger fridge is always over crowded with things we do not use daily or often. I bought this basic fridge and put it out in my shop where I had a very little mini fridge just for cold drinks. This G.E. refrigerator got cold in a few minutes and works as it should. For an inexpensive basic model I am very happy with it as I have been over the years with many G.E. appliances.

I love the fridge overall, love how it is configured on the inside, but it does make a LOT of noise when it runs and it seem to rum more than my old one. But I do like it.

The product was said to be "Garage Ready" by the sales manager that sold us this product. There was nothing in the sales/online specifications that indicated it was not. Upon receipt and reading the "Quick Owners Guide" it states that it should only be installed in area within temperature range of 60F to 100F. I checked the online "Owner's Manual & Installation Instructions" and it inconsistently stated that it should only be installed in area within temperature range of 55F to 100F. Needless to say, our unheated/uncooled garage will not consistently provide the conditions that this product requires. I am disappointed by the sales person telling us that "all GE refrigerators are garage ready" and the misleading product sales information that does not clearly show the environmental operating conditions that are required.
