A great unit for a great price. It’s quiet and does the job, keeps wine cool with a high degree of reliability. After some experimentation, and broadly speaking, this cooler keeps wine bottle temperatures about 2’F difference from top shelf to bottom. The cooler's internal air temperature varies about 4-6’F, top to bottom. Since the cooler relies on natural air convection, opposed to fan circulation, I’ve found that having a bottle in the space next to the thermostat significantly interferes keeping those temperature differentials (bottle/air, top/bottom) minimized. Even a full bottle slot above it has some effect on the thermostat, since cold air sinks. So for examples, with those 2 slots open, with a set point of 56’F the bottle temps are kept at 60’F top and 58’F bottom. As the compressor comes on to cool, the internal temperature fluctuates 4-6’F greater between and during cycles. My Danby mini-fridge varies 8’F, broadly speaking. An Ashcroft analog gage calibrated to a handheld ETEKCITY infrared thermometer were used for these observations. More bottles in the cooler takes longer for the actual bottle’s temperatures to achieve the cooler’s internal median temperature. Conversely, and it makes sense, the more bottles in the cooler the more stable and less deviation there is in bottle temperature, top to bottom. So, buy up! If you need or want absolutely perfect temperature control you’ll be more satisfied with one with air circulation. Again, the cooler does a great job. I wish an internal temperature readout was available on its exterior panel.
Best value available.

As a value-priced wine fridge, I was pleasantly surprised that it is very quiet and seems to maintain the desired temperature. However, like most other wine fridges including some twice as expensive, Burgundy bottles present problems. Most of our wines are in Burgundy style bottles, so it's a tight squeeze. It would be nice if manufacturers could give us adjustments or select shelves that are sized to hold these somewhat larger bottles. This fridge (or cooler) runs surprisingly quite. We'll see how it does with time.

Nice looking, quite running, but has some difficulty fitting the assumed number of Bordeaux bottles side by side on one shelf.

Great size, layout and overall appearance. Seems like a great value too.
