This is the second time in 6 months that we have had to repair our beautiful LOOKING fridge. I could not be more disappointed in the integrity of Whirlpool. We have purchased this brand name forever and have never had an issue like this before- and they will not support replacing a product of theirs that is clearly faulty. We have no idea where to turn with this gigantic hole in our kitchen. Thus is a 3 year old home!! I expected more from this company. I would not recommend at all, unfortunately. I am so disheartened to read the reviews here- same exact problem!!

I bought and finally paid it off after 4 years and now it's going to the curb after 3 failed attempts to repair it becuase of inaccessible freon leak. WHAT!! After 4 years???!!! No warranty, no recourse, nothing I can do but trash it. No assistance whatsoever from Whirlpool. I refuse to replace it with the same junky quality product from Whirlpool. Freezer will go into the basement. Read and heed the reviews, your unit will breakdown. Don't waste your hard earned money!
Waiting on replacement again.....

I normally would not post a negative review on a website, but I don't want someone else making the same mistake I did. I want to start off by saying the refrigerator looks amazing and we really like it when it works. The freezer has been amazing since we purchased it with no problems. They really do look great together and guest talk about how much they like them all of the time. However, it is the refrigerator and the customer service that we have not been thrilled with. We are currently waiting on our 4th factory replacement in less than 4 years. Bought first one in 2017, never worked and was immediately replaced. Second worked until October of 2018, repairman came out and tried to repair but after a couple failed attempts decided it needed replacing. Third refrigerator worked until September of 2019, September 8th to be exact. First repairman came out in about 4 days and ordered part. Part came in and he attempted repair one week later. Fridge cooled for about 30 minutes then we got the dreaded over temperature alarm. This repairman said he would recommend replacing fridge to whirlpool. Well, whirlpool wanted a second opinion. I guess because they don't trust the people they pay to repair their machines. Second repairman comes out and says the first guy didn't know what he was doing and he could fix it no problem all he had to do was order the correct parts. So he orders the parts and we wait another week for part to come in and repairman to come back and fix it. By the time he comes back we are sitting at 4 weeks without a fridge. And guess what, it doesn't work and he recommends ordering a replacement. Basically we wasted two weeks there, when the first guy recommended the same thing. When whirpool calls the following week, because evidently they can only come to my house on a Thursday or Friday, we are told it will be 14 business days before they can get the replacement to my house. We finally get email confirmation that they will be here on Nov 8th. So we have gone 2 months without this thing working. I completely understand things taking time, but when a customer spends the amount of money this fridge costs, plus pays for extended warranty and has gone through the problems that we have, you would think they could be a little inclined to expedite delivery or go out of their way to make this experience a little easier. I really don't understand why this process should take this long. I guess I should be thankful at least it is still under the extended warranty. Unlike some of the reviews that I have read. This experience has made me never want to purchase another Whirlpool product.

I bought this Refrigerator 3 month ago, yesterday the compressor stops, we call the After Service and we have to wait 2 days, we are a family with two children, the temperatur isnside is 50 F, I thinks that this refrigorator is too expensiv, and is not a good quality, sorry
Is better then the last one this is made in the US
