Our old LG didn't last! It should have after only 7 years!! We really like our new Whirlpool. I can tell it will go longer because it cools differently and isn't "on" all the time. We can already see some money savings in our electric bill.

Love the refrigerator. Great features are the LED lighting in side which gives one great visibility as to the contents in the unit. Lots of room to store food. One suggestion is to somehow place rubber on the outside where one gets the water and ice so that the glass doesn't slide off of either one.
