My sister had recommended this model and style to me. She has a similar model and likes it very much. I being a bachelor am not concerned much with an appliance just so long as it does the job and this refrigerator does that. I must admit I really like the convenance of having an ice dispenser that produces both cube or crushed ice. Over all I pleased.

I have not utilized American style refrigerators in the past since I have lived in Germany for the past 20 years. This product is by far more superior then what I am used to using. Very happy so far with the product.

If you are expecting a automatic ice maker, don't buy this one. The arm lifts up occasionally, otherwise if you don't lift it manually it will overfill tray and cubes end up in freezer section. It is advertised as being able to choose the ideal temperature, it has 4 settings and the closest I can get to ideal is either 34 degrees or 40 degrees, nothing in between. Whirlpool sent out a repair man and I was told everything is normal.
