we had our refrigerator fail and needed one fast but when we went looking, we were disappointed by lack of quality of many including some very expensive brands. we fell in love with this one. it is so roomy, loved the handle-less design and the solid feel of this one. we ordered directly from samsung and it was painless and fast. very impressed as all of the big box stores were giving us a run around. we’ve had it one full week and so happy! i even checked the temperature with a digital scanner and it was perfect with refrigerator reading. we have had to adjust to the water dispenser as it does not adjust to the container but no problem for us.

it’s an upgrade for us, but still lacking for the price. i feel like this about be about $150 less. pros - no handles sticking out lots of room nice shelving depth stainless is pretty nice no filter can be seen cons - needs way more light in both the freezer and fridge in a 4100k color temp to light the bottom half. why is there no design for light in the back bottom half? the ice maker is absolute garbage. it barely makes enough ice in a day to appreciate that its even making it, lol. the design is medciocre and the hook takes quite awhile to grab ice. you’ll get half a chunk of ice vs. crushed. no drip tray design. overall, yes, a nice upgrade, but i feel like the price should be quite a bit less based on those 2 things. lighting and ice maker.

freezer already frosts over. there is a crack in thr bottom of thr freezee and rhe bottom freezer drawer is coming apart. ice maker jams about 50 percent of the timw

we purchased 5 samsung appliances for our home including the refrigerator. we had trouble from day 1 with ice maker. we get only crushed ice. no cubes. there were some foam lining that came out from the dispenser as well. we called called support on june 27, and got a ticket created. today is july 12th and no one has come to service the machine or given an update. terrible after sales service.

bought this back in february with a range(horrible also) and there is a horrible noise coming from the freezer. scared my lo to death when she went to get ice. it sounds like a jack hammer. called for service and i was told to buy coolers they had no tech for a week. tech "fixed it" and left that night went to get ice and same issue. called again and i will be another week before than can come out. believe there is a cooling issue in fridge also thing go bad really quick, quicker then expiration date. nor is it fingerprint resistant. shame on you samsung. i was told this was a know issue on both appliances and yet you have done nothing! appears not to just be us with the issues!
