bought this frig a month ago when a transformer blew and a power surge took out my old frig, which was 14 years old. I really like my new Whirlpool frig. It keeps food really cold and I like the shape of the ice cubes. My old frig made too much ice and would clump together, but my new frig makes just the right amount for me.

Old fridge broke down and service repairman said go buy a new Whirlpool. So I did. Wife wanted counter-depth so that's what we got. We really like the counter-depth as it gives us the room that we should have had on the fridge side of kitchen island. We like the 2 paddles - one for water and the other for ice - as we don't have tho press a button to set up one paddle dispenser. I dropped 1 star cause its somewhat noisier than the old fridge and it should have come with 2 more shelves (available for purchase). I'm sure I'll get used to the sound eventually.

We had to replace our old refrigerator and were limited in choices because of the space size and also because we wanted a counter depth fridge. Even though the "box" is no larger, we have so much more interior space. Love it. Also lighting helps you see where everything is so much easier. Only negative comment is that it seems much louder than our old one.
