This is our second counter depth Frigidaire side by side refrigerator. After 10 years (and several hurricanes with multiple power disruptions) the ice maker device rusted through the back of the old one & flooded part of the kitchen. We are happy with our new model although there are two concerns:1. The new model takes different water filter than the old one, so I’m out $40 for my backup filter 2. The thermometer only tells you the temperature once it reaches normal (0 and 35) but not when it’s above, so we have no idea how cold (or warm) the freezer or fridge is during a power disruption

I love the counter depth design this refrigerator has. So sleek & fashionable. The inside has so much room & the ice maker & water dispenser are a big plus being that you can control them when little ones are visiting & you know how they like to push buttons lol::this is a great frig.

We got this refrigerator because of the side by side design and the spacing of the shelves. I know that the freezer drawer models are more popular at the moment, but it's super nice not to have to bend down for everything in the freezer. It is also counter depth, which wasn't something that had bothered me before - but now that the fridge isn't jutting out way past the counter like our last one, I won't go back to any other kind! We got this brand based upon reviews online, and the warranty was pretty good also. We did buy an extended warranty from Lowes which was a lot cheaper than the one advertised on the Frigidaire website. So far it keeps everything SUPER cold, the perfect temperature....but for the first few days there were definitely hot and cold pockets in the fridge. It has totally evened out now and I am super happy with this purchase.
