Noisy scratchy

It’s nice big fridge and it looks beautiful but the First thing we noticed is that the “stainless steel” front scratches incredibly easily. We were glad that our fridge magnets stuck to it but they would leave permanent scratches from any movement. Secondly it became apparent after a week that the compressor never turns off. We have owned it over a month and it has never stopped. And now it’s super noisy, like the fan is vibrating. Maytag says it’s normal. Thanks Maytag but I’m having a repair guy look at it anyway.

We are now on repair number five. The latest repairman said it's a bad idea to put food on the top shelf. As this will only Aid in the problem we're having in that the fridge freezes all our vegetables. Customer service besides being rude seems to think it's okay to have a product out there that doesn't perform correctly and somehow that's okay for the Maytag brand. They offered us a small stipend for the damaged food after the first freezing incident and somehow think that's supposed to cover all the other failures. This refrigerator was bought in February of 2019. If I could return it I would and I still might. This would be a lot more palatable if Maytag was a lot more supportive and the repairman didn't tell me how to load my refrigerator with food. Oh did I mention that the freezer is also malfunctioning.

I purchased this Maytag refrigerator because it was made by an American company. The bonus’s were that the inside was very well though out for the maxim efficiency for storing food. The second bonus was that the handles were very unique and gave the appearance of a high end product. I am also planning on the purchase of a Kitchen Aid range in the near future another product in the Maytag family because of the dependability and the same unique handles.
