When everything is working this is a nice refrigerator unfortunately it has been problematic since it was first purchased new in December 2020. First the compressor went out less than 2 months into use. The part was back ordered so we were without a working refrigerator for months. Next the craft ice went out. sometime later the door ice went out. Then the entire refrigerator wasnt holding temperature so LG serviced it again replacing both ice makers and fixing whatever was causing the overheating. That was about 6 months ago. The craft ice just quit working again.

Really like this refrigerator and all the features. The only issue I had was the craft ice maker stopped making ice twice. First time was fixable by updating the firmware second time we needed to have it replaced entirely. Both technicians that came out first to troubleshoot and second to replace the ice maker were very rude. Not sure if they work for LG or were subcontracted out. They even left dirty fingerprints on the replacement ice machine.

Bought this fridge and nothing but problems from the ice makers. Door ice maker always jams up and having to clean out. Craft ice maker is junk Had the fridge less than 2 years and already replaced the craft ice maker twice. LG service man even said they are junk but LG will not upgrade and make a dependable ice maker. All the gears are plastic and wear down. If you do buy one make sure you spend the extra money and buy the extended plan trust me you will need it.

I wanted to love this refrigerator unfortunately it just was not a good fit for our family. We are returning it. I would say it is very poor at ice production. It struggles to fill the in door very small ice bucket in a days span. It only produces 3 very small craft ice balls in a days time and we have it set at Ice Plus and to make 6. Its beyond ridiculous. We have a family of four and were constantly out of ice. The inside is very difficult to arrange we have a lot of bottles that are tall soy sauce Worcestershire Ketchup BBQ etc. and its hard to make them fit. I dont like that when you open the freezer the top drawer doesnt slide open as well. All of that was workable but the ice situation was not and Im not paying that much money for a refrigerator I do not love. Its also on the dark side just not impressed no matter how much I wanted to be.
