Water dispenser freeze up

This refrigerator was delivered to my home in October 2018 and I have had the repair technician come to my house seven times and the problem is still not resolved. The technician set the display temperature from 38 to 40 degrees and the water dispenser still freeze up. He replaced the circuit board and reprogrammed the software but this did not help. He wrapped the reservoir and tubing with insulation but the water dispenser continued to freeze up. Two other times he reprogrammed the software to a higher temperature, with the display still showing 38 degrees, but this caused the temperature in the refrigerator to fluctuate between 44 and 26 degrees and the water dispenser still would freeze up. My wife and I are having the store come and get this refrigerator and go with a different brand.

We replaced a 10 yr. old KitchenAid bottom freezer frig that still worked great. We re-did our kitchen and wanted black stainless to go with our color scheme...although we are limited on space and didn't have much choice insofar as refrigerator style/dimensions. I would rate this frig as OK...nothing special about it...everything works. It did arrive with damaged shelf brackets and a noticeable finish defect on top of the freezer door...so much for quality control. I try and buy American whenever I'm able but I can see why people gravitate towards the Korean brands...they have better lighting, more features and seem to be more carefully finished. With that being said...I have a new frig and it seems to work.

We just built a new house in the mountains and decided to go with American made Kitchen aid appliances. Everything has come dented. Refrigerator sitting for weeks to get a response on what will be done to replace it. Others just the same. Really unhappy with the lack of response.
