We love our refrigerator. The unit is well thought out for maximizing inside space for the fridge and freezer. Upgraded from a Whirlpool similar in cubic feet, but this Samsung is a huge upgrade in that category. We've had the unit for 2 months and there has been some intermittent issue with the water dispenser, but so far, we were able to remedy ourselves. There are several other buyers reporting the same issues. To this point, good

Well, we had the fridge for a month. The reviews that said the water stopped dispencing were correct. The repair main came out and said that the filter that came with the fridge was failing often. He gave us a new filter. It has worked now for 2 weeks. We will see... Other wise, it is a good machine and attractive.

like others i too had an issue with the water dispenser. samsung knows about the issue and it is a simple fix. once it was fixed its been perfect. however i have found a new issue. the ice dumps even if you have the freezer open, which is a pain. ice makers are not supposed to drop the ice if the freezer is open. i don't know if samsung knows this is an issue but i would lie to know if there is a fix?

the external water dispenser is not worth the extra money to purchase. we have had a total of 4 fails with this product each occurring less than a week after repalcements. in looking at other reviews this is obviously a design flaw that samsung needs to address. we are now waiting for the model without the external water dispenser to become availble. the staff at best buy where we purchased this product have been awesome in customer service and have meet our needs
