We bought this to replace a fridge that was another brand that kept underperfoming. We went into the store and had another brand in mind but saw this beauty and had to take a look. The hubby loved the craft ice feature and I loved the fancy look and features. My only con would be theres no way to turn off the door open alarm. It is very annoying when youre putting away groceries or grabbing multiple items out of it.

It would be a 5 but the craft ice maker broke after 10 months. Also we are having some problems with the service providers. They are coming out for the fourth time tomorrow hopefully they will have the right part this time.

LG Fridge issues from Costco

We purchased a new LG smart fridge from Costco on June 1. The first LG was delivered and installed. Our original fridge was placed in the utility room. The installers hooked up the water line and powered on the new unit. I was told to run 3gals of water thru the system before using and allow 48 hours for ice to freeze. The first set of ice was to be thrown away. After running the new unit for 6+ hours we started moving our frozen goods from our old fridge to the new one. The new unit seemed to be working. Three days later we checked the lower ice maker and discovered ALL our food was thawed out after 3 days of use. The top of the unit was barely operational and the temperature would not get to our desired temperature. We savaged what we could from the NEW LG freezer and dumped the rest of our ruined frozen goods. We immediately contacted Costco and ordered a replacement. The replacement would be delivered in 10 days. Fortunately we had another operational fridge in the house. This week Costco delivered our 2nd LG and picked up the faulty fridge. We didnt add any food for 24 hours. The replacement unit seems to be working thus far. The 1st LG was fully assembled and had very little packing and protective material. All of the handles were installed as if the unit was not brand new. The 2nd LG was not fully assembled. The installers added the handles and removed some of the clear plastic protection material. They installed a new water line and walked us through general operations of the replacement LG.

Bought this almost a month ago and absolutely love it. Was actually shopping for a faucet and had to walk through the appliance department and saw this refrigerator and it was love at first sight. Went back to the store several more times and it was a no brainer. I love the sleek modern look and it has totally changed the look of my kitchen. Best decision ever.
