Be Warned: A warning to all those looking at possibly buying this fridge: There is a feature they are advertising on this model's webpage that does NOT exist with this model. They call the feature: "FRESHCHILL TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED FULL-WIDTH PANTRY". What this is referring to is the long width drawer inside the fridge (the drawer directly underneath the two crisper drawers). In reality, this drawer has a large permanent hole for air to constantly pass through and has no individual temperature control, as the advertising suggests. Just look closely as the interior photos of the fridge and you will see what I am talking about. Again, this feature does NOT exist with this model. This is false advertising. Also, to clarify their advertising of the "PRODUCE PRESERVER" feature. The fridge does NOT come with a "Produce Preserver" product (although you can buy one separately) nor do either of the crisper drawer interiors have a part where a "Produce Preserver" can be attached to (it is shown as ATTACHED to a crisper drawer in the marketing photo on this model's webpage). See, I used to have another KitchenAid fridge that had a part on the vertical side of the crisper drawer specifically to attach a "Produce Preserver" onto. It's sort of like a notched part on the vertical side of the drawer that the "Produce Preserver" hooks onto. And this fridge model does NOT have that part to hook a "Produce Preserver" onto. Thus, if you want to use a "Produce Preserver", you will just have to place one inside the drawer and it will just sit loosely at the bottom of the drawer and in the way of your produce.

We replaced a 20 year old fridge with this, so it takes getting used to. We love the freezer on the bottom! The refrigerator is nice and deep (front to back), so it stores quite a bit for a smaller size. The arrangement of shelves that can slide back to allow for milk jugs is a good feature. For some reason, our lettuce doesn't stay fresh as well...
