I got a month ago and had a 15 yr old frig. Love the layout it is so efficient . Also love having 2-3 more inches in my kitchen with the counter depth refrigerator. Seems like it is keeping items crisper and fresher longer.

Nice fridge. Spacious upper and lower. I like the door open notification. Smart freezer design and fits tons of food. Only criticism is the water dispenser drips (2 drops) after every use and since it’s inside fridge, I need to remember to wipe drops up after each use.

I bought this refrigerator during a kitchen upgrade to replace a GE counter depth side-by-side. It is a bit taller than the GE, but that works fine in our space. We have a galley kitchen and there is no room for the refrigerator to stick out further into the room -- which would have been the case with any of the Samsung counter depth French Door refrigerators. It seems to have more usable interior refrigerator space than old GE, but the freezer space may be smaller. The interior space is very well organized and it is easy to see what is in it. I love the clean look of having the water dispenser inside and I hope it will be less likely to malfunction than having the dispenser in the door. Having the ice bin with a scoop inside the freezer has not been a negative. I love the clean look of the exterior. I've had it for about a month now. So far, so good!

I've had this fridge in a 2 person adult home since September 2016. The unit has door seals that have failed. How is this possible KitchenAid? I looked at the other reviews that say to call their 800 number and was told that KitchenAid will not stand behind this failure. Just in case you are reading this and thinking that KitchenAid is doing something for it's customer with this problem......they ARE NOT! Luckily I purchased an extended warranty but I shouldn't need this for something that I see as a design flaw rather than a fluke failure. Just know that if you buy this unit that you will be putting $300+ in seals every ~2-3 years to keep it running correctly.
