I looked at this fridge in store, but bought a Whirlpool because it was less expensive. As it turns out, the Whirlpool had a faulty compressor...just my luck. Kudos to Lowes for making it right and upgrading me to this beautiful GE! Its as quiet as a church mouse, just like my old GE Profile was before it conked out after years of flawless service. I'm very pleased with Lowes and GE! Loving it so far!!

We abosolutely LOVE all of the features of our new GE refrigerator, and it has all the room we need. BUT.............it is SO NOISY, we have to adjust our TV volume whenever it starts running. The GE technician told us that we have to "live with it", because that's how the refrigerators are made now. We asked our dealer to trade this one in.

Nice refrigerator. Lots of space in the fridge section. A little louder than most fridges but not excessive. Wish it's hinges weren't so long so that it would fit under cabinets better
