I bought the refrigerator about six months ago and had problems with the right hand door remaining closed. They were responsive and offered us a new refrigerator. We just had it installed and now the ice maker is not working properly. Very dissapointing.

We purchased this fridge with our new construction last year. It is beautiful and looks great in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the hinges on the doors have both failed and while we were able to have the Left side door replaced quickly and easily - the right side door has taken us since February 2017 (and approx 15 service calls) to get it fixed/repaired. After the most recent replacement of the entire hinge and spring assembly on Oct 31, 2017, it has started to pop and show signs of failure again as of Nov 3, 2017. The repair company has been great throughout all this effort, despite the significant inconvenience to us. I'm really questioning our decision to have purchased KitchenAid :( I am going to contact our Retailer tomorrow and ask for help, but I am hoping someone at KitchenAid takes note of this review also. We just want our fridge to work correctly, and relative to its cost. These things are not inexpensive!

We have had our refrigerator for almost 2 years. It was included in our newly built house. Based on the other reviews, we must have gotten a lemon because the icemaker is not efficient. It keeps making ice and overflows. We have ice cubes all over the bottom of the freezer. You have to remove the ice tray to turn the ice maker off and if it's too full you the ice cubes spill all over. We've had it serviced twice and still can't resolve the issue. The french doors slam if they are let go and not shut gently, and now the seal has been torn on one of the doors. I've never had so many issues with a refrigerator.

Very quiet and spacious. Some design features could be improved. Inconvenient to stop ice maker...should not have to open both French doors in order to open refrigerator drawers.
