Happy to finally receive it after it was delivered with dents. Then the next week it was not on the truck. Then finally received with no problems. I was without a refrigerator from July 6 til the end of September. I was totally ready to have one.

Received this model last week (couldn't get the kitchenaid version for another 3 weeks) and it cools very well but is super noisy when the compressor kicks in... got a warranty repair person in who used cork tape to damp down the high pitched whining noise and low rumble from the compressor; much better now but should have been part of the original build imho. prior to fix, it was like having a mosquito in your ear plus a low rumble whenever the cooling compressor went on. The deli drawer (only half width) is not nearly as usable as the old amana full width version (currently available on the too-slow-to-deliver kitchenaid version which is the old amana version imho) has gaps in front and back so deli/cheese smells permeate the fridge. I kept the old amana butter storage bin which fits. this version doesn't come with one. wish I'd kept the amana side mount ice tray, as I've removed the icemaker due to concerns about reliability. capacity is smaller than my old amana bottom freezer 1 door which was 36" wide. no similar model is now available from whirlpool, amana or kitchenaid.

So happy with the new fridge! Great space inside and in the door, as well as the freezer! And wow, it makes great ice - it keeps up to our demand and makes "normal" size cubes, not those "tiny" size cubes.
