Came new with the house we bought and within two years we lost the cooling component over night so the freezer and fridge thawed overnight without warning. Lost irreplaceable breast milk for my child and about 300$ worth of food. Had to eat out for a week while we waited on the part. Spent another 2-300 on food and about a month later was compensated $250 after basically begging for it. So unhappy with the fridge and the customer service. Dont recommend. 0/10

We havent had ours too long and it went out and found out the free on is flammable and cause your house to burn down. And a house warranty that cannot find anyone to repair it its been 4 months now still not fixed.

We owned this refrigerator for about 2 1/4 years before the compressor and the rest of the closed system died and needed to be replacedkilling the entire inventory the friday before memorial day weekend. It was covered under warranty up to 5 years. It took LG almost a month to replace the parts. Once completed the tech even warned us about many failures with this compressor even brand new models. Holding temp now but now i can hear it run from the other side of my house

I bought my fridge a few months ago and could not be more thrilled. My old fridge gave out and I needed a new one fast. The space it needed to fit was a little narrow compared to the new huge units. I ended up getting this because the capacity was significantly larger than most French door units. Its the same footprint as the one that died but the design is so much better and this fits way more than I could in my old one. I wish I could have gotten it in black stainless steel to match my oven but I couldnt wait that long. I still find myself just looking at it with love

We appreciate the convenience of the bottom freezer drawer with built-in ice maker. The shelving spacing in the fridge and the fridge door work fine for us. We would have been happy to have paid a few dollars extra to have had more substantial shelves they are plastic. They work ok but any great weight in the middle causes them to bend.
