The only problem is if the door is shut very hard it causes suction inside making it hard to open again right away. Close slowly no problem.

i did my homework , I thought!!!! for the space i have , not a lot of choices, from any maker, but then again , one maker, makes so many brand names!!!!! doesn't hold nearly as much as my 1997 GE, now that was a GOOD product!!! this thing is so cheaply made, door takes two hands and a yank to open!!! Had service man come," thats the way they are" drawers are very fragile and don"t even close completely.Working with seller to have a trade! I would NOT SUGGEST WHIRLPOOL SORRY!!!! and on top of all this i understand they're only built to last 5-7 years!! SHAME ON YOUR COMPANY,YOU SHOULD HAVE A LOT MORE PRIDE IN WHAT YOU BUILD!!!! Don't you get it,????? If you make a good product, you will prosper!!!! No wonder other countries are beating the pants off the USA, your a part of the problem!!!! For $1700.00 I deserve to get a good refrigerator, that will work and last!!!!!!
