We recently purchased the LG WT7005CW washing machine when our much older washer died. Base on a family member recommendation we looked at LG. We have been very impressed with its value ease of use and how quiet it is. Our water usage will certainly be lower also.

I purchased the washer about two months ago. I am glad I did. The washer has a glass top and my husband and I like to watch it weighing the clothes and watching the wash start. The machine is quiet and no vibration. Very little programming . Its power on cycle selection and start. I like it so much that I purchased a LG refrigerator 6/25/23 when my refrig broke down. In fact all my sons appliances are LG and I love the appearance of them and how reliable they are. I dont advise my stove and microwave to break down.

HAD TO MOVE THE WASHER OUT A FEW INCHES AND THE FRONT FOOT FELL OFF - MUST HAVE BEEN BAD PLASTIC OR BUMPED IN TRANSIC TO HOME DEPOT. CALLED FOR REPLACEMENT AND WAS TOLD IT WAS PART OF THE WHOLE BOTTOM PANEL COSTING $100S OF DOLLARS. WASHER HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY PICKY AND SHOWS ERROR CODES ALL THE TIME. ON-OFF AND WORKS FINE. HAVE TO STAND NEXT TO IT FOR FIVE MINUTES TO MAKE SURE IT STARTS WITHOUT ERROR CODES. MY PREVIOUS WASHER DRYER WAS LG AND I HAD NO PROBLEMS

This has been the worse dryer I have bought. It does not clean very well. The clothes dont smell great after going through the wash I am using the same detergent I used with my old one. Also the water will not go hot. There is a setting for hot water on the washer but it only comes out warm. The company states that this is because it is energy efficient. It would be nice to be able to have hot water during the load. So if you are looking for a washing machine that cleans your clothes. Choose another one.
