We have had our new laundry pair for about a month now and I'm very pleased with them! We had our original pair from Maytag for almost 30 years and we're a little reluctant to go for a front load machine. I'm happy to say I don't regret the decision to purchase this new pair. The washer is very easy to use and my clothes come out fresh and clean!

The washer is fine in terms of main functions but disappointed at this price point that no light in wash drum. My Maytag purchased in 2002 had a light.

We have only had it a couple of weeks so I am still learning how to use but it has worked great so far. I do wish it had a rinse/spin setting (unless I just haven’t found it) and it is not as quiet as previous Maytag washer which is why 4 stars. However, overall I am very pleased and would recommend it.

I work with the homeless and my clothes are exposed to street dirt, germs, diseases, and biohazard. I needed a washer that can sanitize my uniforms. The kids get ground in dirt, and it's Texas, so throw in some barbeque sauce, hot grease spots, a whole lot of sweat, wet bathing suits, towels and two dogs. I purchased this particular Maytag washer because it supposedly had commercial cleaning qualities. The first load I washed without using the heavy duty cycle. All the grime was gone including the previous spots of embedded dirt. I used the sanitizer cycle on my uniforms and they smelled really fresh. The whites were impressively white. The comforters got a notice from the kids on the fresh smell. There is a twenty minute cycle I can use for small light loads, or that "I need to have this clean right now". After a month, I'm satisfied that this is a washer that can deliver what it said it could do. Job Well Done Maytag!
