Just delivered. Only used a few times. One glitch; lid on washer does not stay open. Will need to call for service already on that; disappointed. Other than that, the compact size is perfect for our small space. The fact 90% of repairs can be done from front, if needed, is highly beneficial for our tight area. I can already tell the dryer dries better than the 2yr old fancy Whirlpool we just replaced; excited about that...45 minutes for this one would equal over 2 hours of dry time for the other one. One thing; turn washer to OFF when done. We weren't and sequence lights stayed lit. Don't know if supposed to; will ask service repairman when fixes lid. Otherwise, so far so good.

Nice appliance, not the kind and Quality of the machine that this GE replaced. The Maytag Neptune cica. 2000 had a light in the dryer; this one does NOT. So disappointed that this stached unit is not a fromt loader for both washer and dryer. We have limited space on the boat and although this machine is a bit smaler, the fact that it is not a front loader is a disadvantage to us. I do like the stainless steel dryer and washer tubs. They are clean and bright. Just imagine how bright the dryer tub would have been with a nice lamp that illuminated when the door was Opened?
