When the drying cycle ends it makes a very loud noise. I wish I could disable that feature.

I am extremely disappointed with my new dryer. The salesman failed to mention that this machine is known to be extremely noisy and has a rattling sound that would wake anyone trying to sleep while the machine is running. It can be heard throughout the house.

The buzz to signal the end of the cycle goes off multiple times and is ridiculously loud. It woke up everybody in the house. Why on EARTH would anybody need that? I’m going to find out if I can return the dryer because of the fact that it can’t be disabled. I don’t understand how this product made it to the production floor while making that horrific noise. I wish I could add a video. Seriously do not buy this dryer.

This set is the perfect size for my laundry area. I needed a set that woul replace my old washer and dryer but found that many other model were too deep. GE models offered the very good feature operated by simple turn controls.
