This dryer matches the washer I bought a ew years back and it plays the same end of cycle tune as the washer but in a higher key. It is very eeficient at drying loads and the filter is eas to clean.

i bought this dryer and the matching washer from best buy. neither samsung or bb provided information that the dryer is, by default, a rear discharge unit. if one wants to side or bottom discharge air, there is a special kit that has to be purchased. the installers came to place the new appliances and take the old units away. when i explained the need for a bottom discharge, i was told best buy's techs cannot install a bottom discharge dryer and even if they could, i didn't have the right parts to do it. i've looked on samsung's website for the bottom discharge kit and all that seems available is a side discharge and the reviews are sketchy at best.
