I am so tickled to have this dryer. I love that it takes such good care of my clothes! I also love that it has a cheerful little tune it plays after it completes the gentle drying of all of our garments (and linens). This Samsung dryer is sleek, easy to use, and best if all it works perfectly!

I received my Samsung Dryer DVE50A8600E series and had it set up by my husband. He connected it to the home network and gave me a quick tutorial on how it works with the SmartThings app on my Android phone. The dryer has many options however the best is that it notifies you when the laundry is done so that you can go get it then. That is the best feature. The button layout is nice, the dial is easy to operate. The LED is bright enough. I like the steam option and I like the feature that keeps the clothes wrinkle free in case you can’t get them out of the dryer as soon as they are dry. This dryer is really nice and looks well built. I am enjoying it so far.

although the dryer works really good with several drying options, just feel like some of the options take really long to complete, can do better with drying a huge load of clothes

Works great and somehow senses the dampness of the clothes in the dryer. Unit will cut down time required to dry if the clothes are dry under some settings. The dryer is million times better than my prior dryer! Dryer door can also be reversed if needed which is a great option and makes it very convenient to move items from the washer to the dryer. Dryer is also very quiet. No need to even close the door to the laundry room when drying items. Far superior to my old dryer that required that the room door be closed when drying clothes.

If you have both the washer and dryer for this set, they actually sync up and communicate. After you transfer your wet clothes to the dryer, it will default to the corresponding dryer setting that matches what setting you used for the washing machine. For example, say you chose "Bedding" on the washing machine; the "Bedding" function would then be suggested on the dryer. If you prefer to use a different setting, you can easily switch using the digital dial. A feature that I really appreciate is the drying rack. It comes with a drying rack option that you can insert into the machine and place delicate clothes on to dry. This is wonderful for things you don't want bouncing around in the dryer such as bras, shoes, hats, face masks or even sweaters. Like the washing machine, the dryer connects to the Samsung app on your phone letting you see what phase of the cycle your clothes are in as well as how much time is left, etc. You can control your dryer right from your phone. It's a very impressive and helpful feature of this set.
