The dishwasher seems to work ok there are still some dishes that do not come as clean as I would like but over all easy to use and it looks nice.

Is it possible to be in love with an appliance? I almost look forward to doing the dishes because this machine is so pleasant to use. The stainless steel tub is a vast improvement over our 10+year old plastic tub dishwasher that you had to wash the dishes by hand before using. The tub looks perfect after 2 months of daily use. I mean the dishwasher sends me a text when its done via the ThinQ app. I can also track the number of cycles and be reminded to run maintenance cycles or clean the filter. Actually that might be my one complaint: its hard to get the filter and stainless grate out to clean them because the spinning jets ? get in the way. Maybe there is a way to move it and Ive just been too lazy to look it up in the manual so dont pay too much attention to this issue. I was won over by this model by the smooth gliding top rack I dont know why it is so satisfying but I love it The visual confirmation that the wash has ended also ensures that my kids cant say they didnt know they needed to unload the dishwasher This is not the cheapest dishwasher out there but its worth the price. Ive been really pleased with all my LG appliances we have a refrigerator washer dryer dishwasher and even a TV and they have been excellent. Hope this helps you make a decision if you are like me and read the reviews obsessively before a major purchase
