Exploding burner coating watch for sparks

We love our brand new LG range except for the part where the coating on one of the burner covers flaked off within a couple weeks and seemed to explode sending a shower of sparks and black dust flying all over the cooking area. LG phone support has been no help at all and told us the burner covers arent under warranty. Gotta tell ya I dont care about paying for another burner cover I care about the continued risk of the coating flying off at high speed while Im cooking.

We have loved this range since we got it. The temperature control is excellent and the features are great. Customer service was top notch as well. We had a grate that the enamel chipped on the first use but no questions asked customer service had a new one at our house in a couple days.

I bought this a few weeks ago and we love the airfry feature. It allows us not to clutter our counter with a seperate airfryer and it makes the best crispy french fries. Looking forward to trying the probake as well. I have not been able to get the range to wifi connect however. Need to work on that again. The gas range is powerful we love the grittle in the center burner pancakes heating tortillas many uses.
