I have an older model of this series and on mine it is possible to have gas flowing on the cooktop BEFORE the igniter comes on. Found this out when someone accidentally must have bumped the knob and we noticed a strong gas odor in the room. Hopefully they have re-engineered the gas controls.

Only had the range a short time so I'm still getting used to it. The double oven is a nice feature but it does make the convection oven very low to the ground. It will take a deep squat to get my Thanksgiving dinner out so I hope all goes well. I didn't take that into consideration in the store but I see it will be when I start to use it for larger meals
